(More customer reviews)The mattress was as described. It came rolled and vaccum sealed in a fairly small carton, considering the size of the mattreses. The carton comes with roller wheels and a handle, which makes it extremely easy to lug around. I had absolutely no problem wheeling it myself. It arrived on time. Its slightly less thick than advertised. Its nice and soft as a pillow top should be. Excellent deal for the price. I have absolutely no complaints.

(More customer reviews)As always Amazon ships super fast and items arrive in good condition. The bed is nice for those of you that are looking to save space. The drawers are a very good size and the bed is nice and high (I am using my bed and frame although the unit itslef doubles as a frame. I prefer a bed that is higher).

Only tough part was putting it together because there was so much to do (drawers, frame, hinges, bed frame, etc. and there seemed to be a million nails/screws.
Don't lose the nails/screws as they are pretty much counted for.) but nothing that can't be completed in half a day or so (4 hours).

One thing to note, the frame while good uses many leverage points to make things happen. WHat I am getting at is this is not a bed that you want to move (especially with the bed on the frame).

Seems like a bed you need to tear-down if you ever move or else the frame will get damaged. However, for the price and storage space, I am happy and would purchase again.

Conclusion

Worth the price for the storage space.

I decided to spend the extra money to get a high quality futon that will last longer than a couple of years. The price was well worth it. This futon is incredibly comfortable. It is firm (but not TOO firm) so if you're looking for something soft you may want to consider one of Otis' other models like the Haley 90, which is also available on Amazon from Room Doctor. Whichever one you choose you will NOT be disappointed. It has been years since I have slept so well.

(More customer reviews)I am usually hesistant to order bed frames sight unseen, but because of the reviews (and the price) I took a chance with this product.

Short and sweet: high quality, great finish, perfect fight.

First thing I noticed was the screws screw into metal, not wood.Nice!The finish was very smooth and was ready for staining/sealing out of the box.I decided to finish it with Danish Oil for a natural finish.Looks fantastic.All holes lined up perfectly.All pieces fit together correctly, and everything is level.The quality for the price is A+.It does stand tall.....taller than my old metal frame/box spring/mattress combo.As a matter of fact, it is tall enough for me to easily climb under (6'0", 180lbs), but I like it that way.I was able to assemble it by myself in 30 minutes. TIP: use a box to hold up one end while you work on the opposite end.

The only thing I would warn others about is the gap in the middle is wider than shown in the picture.It didn't matter to me since I was laying down some plywood for a memory foam mattress, but I wanted to let others know.

I saw much cheaper (not to mention heavier) particle board platform beds locally in shops for $250+ and none matched the quality of this frame.

(More customer reviews)I managed to get this set up in little over an hour working alone. Would sure be easier with two people. The instructions are pretty well detailed and easy to follow. The finished product looks great and is perfect for a memory foam or foam mattress requiring a flat surface (no slats). Extremely cheap bed for the price considering that you dont have to invest in a bed skirt and a bed frame separately. Extremely heavy so you won't want to pick this up alone. Bit difficult even with two people if you need to heave it up and down stairs. I live in a third floor apartment so we found it easier to just unpack it downstairs and carry the pieces up.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this bed frame with a mattress from the same company.I am happy with the mattress, the frame is a disaster.When I unpacked the box, there were cut zip ties, empty plastic bags, loose cardboard, and loose screws floating around in the box.I figured it had been unpacked, repacked and sent out again.All the parts seemed to be there so I proceeded in putting the frame together.I did not get past step one.The parts and directions did not match!This bed was impossible to assemble with the parts and directions that were given.I decided to give the product/company another chance and asked for a replacement.BIG MISTAKE!It was the same exact situation from the destroyed box, to the poor directions.Bottom line... don't bother with this frame.
